I am Sarah Nayler-Reed and I am 36 years old. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 and bit years ago when my daughter was 4 months old (my second child).

I had found a lump when I was 8 months pregnant but everyone presumed it was a cyst. It was not until a postponed appointment at St. Albans breast clinic, that I was told that it was cancer.

I had a mastectomy and full lymph node removal which revealed that it had began to spread and that there was no hormones in my tumor but it was HR2 +.

I have had chemo and a year’s course of herceptin, which I had to fight 6 months for. I have the best ever Oncologist and chemo nurses and no, I did not have curly hair before.

I am very happy not wearing my false boob and I have no intension of having reconstruction.
